Install the server

Complete server setup
- Start Server Setup.
- Follow the installation instructions supplied with the software.
- Choose the installation folder and the components.
- When setup asks where to create the database, choose one option from the table.
| Choice in setup | What it does |

| In a new SQL Express Instance | The default. Setup installs SQL Server Express and creates the database in it. The database is limited to 10 GB. |
| I will specify an existing SQL Instance (advanced) | Setup creates the database in an SQL Server that is already running. Use it when the site needs SQL Server Standard or higher. |
| Upgrade my existing database | Use it only when you upgrade an existing Integriti installation. |
Note
These choices come from the older System Configuration Handbook. The setup screen for V26 can look different.

Server setup completes.
