STEP 3 OF 3

Release a controller from its old server

Warning

This breaks the link to the old server. The old site can no longer use this controller.

Warning

A full default erases all programming. Do it only if Inner Range support tells you to. The method is in the ISC and IAC installation manuals, page 7.

  1. Use this step only if the old site no longer needs this controller.
  2. Back up the database on the old server.
  3. In System Designer on the old server, right-click the controller in the Navigation panel. Choose Export, then Delete.
  4. At the controller keypad, log in with the installer code.
  5. Open the communications task programming menu.
  6. Select the Integriti communications task.
  7. Change its state from Active to Idle.
  8. Delete the communications task.
  9. Enrol the controller in the new server.
